Door panel materials can be mainly divided into the following categories:
Solid wood door panels: Made of natural logs or solid wood integrated materials, they are environmentally friendly and durable, color adjustable, and stable in physical properties. They are suitable for complex style customization, but they are not easy to clean and maintain, and the price is relatively high.
Painted door panels: Made of density boards through grinding, polishing, painting, high-temperature baking and other processes, they are bright in color, high in finish, easy to scrub, waterproof and moisture-proof, but the process is complicated and the price is relatively high.
Double-faced door panels: The base material is mostly ecological board, multi-layer board or particle board, and melamine material is used on both sides for veneer, which is wear-resistant, scratch-resistant, and stable, but cannot be shaped.
Skin-feel door panels: The surface is made of special technology, with high-grade texture, but it cannot be shaped and is difficult to clean.
Molded door panels: The base material is medium-density board or high-density board, and the surface is covered with solid wood veneer or mold. The shape is varied, but the surface is not scratch-resistant and difficult to clean.
Acrylic board: Made of methyl methacrylate monomers, it has bright colors, is resistant to yellowing, moisture, acid and alkali, but is brittle and cannot withstand strong pressure.
These door panel materials have their own advantages and disadvantages, and they need to be matched according to the decoration style and personal needs. For example, solid wood door panels are suitable for Chinese and classical styles, while painted door panels are suitable for modern and minimalist styles.
